FUEL MAY LEAK

Reason for recall

Fuel may leak from connections for the fuel tank breather and vent hoses on to the ground. Poor engine running may be experienced accompanied by the engine management warning light. The fuel on the ground can be a hazard for other road users.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the existing connections for the breather and vent hoses with modified items that allow from an expansion space for fuel within the tank so that excess fuel cannot enter the breather line or carbon canister.
