Reason for recall

It has been identified that some MAN TGL vehicles may have a problem with the steering shaft universal joint which may have been inserted too far over the teeth of the steering transmission shaft. This could result in the teeth failing to be adequately engaged with the consequence if ignored that the steering could fail.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the connection between the steering shafts checked. The components will be replaced if they show signs of damage.
