POSSIBLE FAILURE OF OFFSIDE REAR BRAKE CAMSHAFT

Reason for recall

It has been identified that the possibility exists that the offside rear brake camshaft may be subject to failure caused by excessive force imparted due to the upgrading of the spring brake chamber. In the event of camshaft failure braking effort will be lost at the affected wheel station.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have both rear spring brake actuators changed.
