YAW RATE SENSOR MAY SUFFER INTERNAL DELAMINATION

Reason for recall

On certain vehicles equipped with a dynamic stability control the yaw rate sensor may have suffered internal delamination. This could result in actuation of the stability control incorrectly resulting in uneven and unexpected application of the brakes.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will be inspected in order to ascertain whether they contain a suspect sensor. Should this indeed be the case the sensor will be replaced with a quality assured part.
