POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION OF ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Reason for recall

The engine management system could possibly continue to use the the last received data from the vehicle ECU. For example in the event of a datalink short the vehicle may not switch to "limp home " mode but continue to respond to the last received command from either the throttle or cruise control.

Remedy

Re-programme the engine ECU (EECU).
