Reason for concern

STEERING ARM SECURING NUTS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN FULLY TIGHTENED

Reason for recall

Failure of one of two steering arm attachment studs due to securing nut being incorrectly torqued. Continued use of vehicle with failed stud could lead to second stud failing and loss of directional control of the vehicle.

Remedy

Contact all affected operators requesting them to carry out torque checks on the six nuts retaining the top steering lever and both bottom steering levers. Any nut/bolt found to rotate more than a quarter of one flat must be renewed.
