POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION OF HANDBRAKE CONTROL VALVE

Reason for recall

The handbrake valve may not have been adequately lubricated on initial assembly. This could result in premature wear of the locking plunger with the risk of the handbrake being easily dislodged from the "ON" position.

Remedy

The manufacturer has written to the operators of all potentially defective vehicles requesting them to examine the handbrake valve and apply a lubricant to the bridge piece. Should the bridge piece be found to be excessively worn the operator will
